Women's Association - Stapari Užice was founded on January 19, 2014 and it is a voluntary non-governmental and non-profit association established primarily to achieve the objectives in the field of economic empowerment of women by improving their position by raising awareness about their rights and potentials in family and society. The members of this association are: Milina Ilic, Nada Jokic, Slavica Ristovic, Sladjana Ristovic, Jasmina Grdeljevic,
Vera
Kondic, Gordana Milosavljevic, Olga Bukvic, Sladjana Lukic, Natasa Mirkovic, Snezana Kurlagic and Ljiljana Sindjic.

This Association is represented by Slavica Ristovic - President of the Management Board and Snezana Kurlagic - Vice-President of the Management Board.

 The work of the Association has a number of objectives to realize, and those are:
- development and promotion of healthy food,
- preservation, improvement and promotion of old crafts,
- development and promotion of rural tourism,
- creation of favorable conditions for life and work in the countryside and keeping young people in the countryside,
- promotion and improvement of healthy living and protection of the environment,
- organization of visits to manifestations and fairs
- other objectives that would insure progress and prosperity of the village.

To achieve its goals it is necessary for the Association to: collect and process scientific and specialized literature in the field of economic empowerment of women from rural areas, improvement of rural areas, as well as production of healthy food; organize, alone or in cooperation with other organizations, professional meetings, conferences, seminars and other forms of education in order to improve situation of women from rural areas, improvement of rural areas, as well as production of healthy food; participate in activities related to environmental conservation and protection, ecology, improvement of environmental conditions; be involved in organizing cultural life of the village in order to attract a greater number of audiences and tourists from the city in order to  develop the rural tourism; participate in the humanitarian and similar activities dealing with general public interest and to cooperate with all other similar associations and organizations.
